Gentlemens practice

Ben has been a regular customer to our online store, is a Club GP member and has also used our bespoke wedding service for his son’s wedding in 2016. It should be noted that Ben is in no way affiliated with GP or anyone who works at GP.

I discovered Gentlemen’s Practice in February last year (2016) when I was looking for an inspiring site providing something different and stylish for my son’s wedding.  We had Gibson Donegal Tweed suits already and needed accessories that would fit with the look.  I contacted Gareth at GP and he was so helpful!  He came up with loads of great suggestions and alternatives, he really pulled out all the stops to get everything perfect, even for my little grandson, who was fitted out with a matching mini bow tie.  In the end each set was delivered in GP’s own excellently designed and very desirable boxes – so they made fantastic gifts for all the lads taking part.  We even had matching NATO watches!  I’d thoroughly recommend any chaps that want to look extra-special at a wedding to use Gareth’s brilliant service.

After discovering the unbelievable style and value of Gentlemen’s Practice I tried ordering some other goodies – things I’d never tried wearing before.  Gareth’s website and his Instagram, Facebook and Twitter blogs are very inspiring – some irresistible photography and films that really give great inspiration to the man who wants to dress with some style and individuality.  I soon found that wearing the little extras make all the difference!  I get a lot of compliments and comments when I use Gareth’s matching ties and pocket squares, and the lapel pins – it’s amazing how many!  I hardly ever had comments about my clothes before, but with the right accessories things are so different.

It makes me feel great, wearing something unique – things you can’t find in town.  I especially like the great choice in ties – loads of variety and all of them unusual, stylish and good quality.  I bought the GP chronograph and that’s brilliant too – everyone thinks I have a watch that cost at least a couple of hundred pounds, it’s that good – love the strap too.  The NATO watch, with interchangeable straps (what a fantastic idea!) is also very reliable and looks like it cost a lot!

Over the last few months I joined the GP subscription list – another great idea!  It’s very exciting getting a mystery present every month, and doesn’t cost much at all.  Some great items have been included – a gorgeous tie, cool bracelets, sunglasses and even another fantastic watch!  Every month a complete set, boxed in the great GP style – makes me feel thoroughly spoilt – but I love it!

I’d recommend anyone to give Gentlemen’s Practice a try – I’ve found it a very rewarding experience and I would say it’s even changed my life – certainly the way I dress, and it’s made my social life more fun.  One drawback – I go out more often – so many great accessories to enjoy wearing!
